Trovya – Discovering the value of creativity on health and wellbeing

A new series of events is starting this month to explore the wealth of opportunities offered by the creative sector in Cornwall.

Trovya is the first in a programme of community drop-in events to enable people to discover the value of creativity on health and well-being to be hosted by Arts Well, taking place on Wednesday 23rd November in Newquay.

Hosted at CSpace based at 5-7 The Crescent in Newquay, from 10am – 4pm, entrance is free for visitors to experience creative opportunities from across Cornwall and meet an exciting selection of organisations and practitioners offering demonstrations, mini-workshops and further information.

The main aim of Trovya – which means “discover” in Cornish – is to connect artists and creatives with other organisations and practitioners, health and care professionals, social prescribers, the wider cultural sector and the local community.

Organisations booked to attend include Wedge Studio, Sprout Spoken, Blystra Arts, Sally Crabtree, Dance Centred, Youth Art Connect, Newquay Library, Cirque Du Ciel – Circus Charity and the event is supported with funding from Cornwall Council.
